Kurds abroad report surveillance, threats and pressure on relatives, from several states and from rival factions. This site is designed so that taking part keeps you and your family out of view.
01What we do
- You may take part under a pseudonym
- Your profile, groups and courses stay private unless you open them
- Ethnicity, faith, dialect, home region and political views are optional, and never shown in public
- Only approved attendees learn where an event takes place; the public sees a count at most
- Passkeys are offered to everyone, and required for staff, moderators and organisers
- Location data is removed from every photo you upload
- Outside feeds are fetched by our servers, so no outside service sees you read them
- You can delete your history and leave any group, with nothing left behind
02What we never do
- No request for your password or a sign-in code, by email, phone or message
- No sign-in links by email
- No sale, sharing or publication of what members tell us
- No public list of members, attendees or donors
- No contact with your relatives, in the homeland or anywhere else
03If something is wrong
Tell the safety team at once if someone claims to speak for KCO, if you are threatened, harassed or doxxed, or if a member may be at risk. You can report in confidence.
